What We Believe

Our number one driver for doing business as a wholesale spiritual candle company is authenticity.

We feel that we have a responsibility to provide the communities we serve with products that serve a real purpose and follow real traditions. It is important to us that we be able to do this without breaking those traditions and also without culturally compromising them by way of inappropriate applications that only do harm to those religions and traditions. We have encountered manufacturers and suppliers that provide products that don't have any real roots in any tradition. These organizations mix religions and spiritual paths in a way that is entirely inappropriate or use ingredients that have no real origin for which their application is appropriate.

We are also of the belief that giving back to the community is important

Right out the door, we want our customers and distributors to know that we want to give back to our community in effective ways. Starting with our Thanksgiving day, 2017 Launch, we opened our doors by raising money to fund Southern Poverty Law Center. This decades-old agency describes themselves as, "dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of our society. Using litigation, education, and other forms of advocacy, the SPLC works toward the day when the ideals of equal justice and equal opportunity will be a reality." In the coming years, we hope to work with many agencies and companies who are best aligned with our goals and benefit people in effective ways.

Recuriting to build a workforce that is diverse and inclusive

Inclusive and diversityLike NIKE, a company with a majority-minority workforce, we understand how important social mobility is to the population. In fact, the United States has one of the lowest rates of socioeconomic mobility of developed countries, which means that someone born into low-income families, regardless of their talent, or how hard they work, do not have the same access to opportunities as those born into more privileged circumstances. This means that students coming from wealthier families tend to go to more highly regarded universities, ultimately leading them to get higher profile jobs compared to those students who come from less well-to-do backgrounds.

Which is why we believe social mobility starts with the companies who offer opportunities by also offering those opportunities in communities that would best benefit from their inclusion. We are proud to encourage people from all walks of life to work with us. We will reach out to local advocacy groups who work closely with their communities to let them know about new work opportunities in our business.
